Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Lakin

Motel appears to be fairly new and maintained properly. Room was clean and quiet. Pet friendly charge was $25/night for animals 25 lbs. and under. The motel and staff were professional and kind. TV remote didn’t work, so they offered to move me to another room, but I was too tired from two solid days of driving cross country. DO NOT USE THE 3rd PARTY RESERVATION SERVICE TO BOOK! THEY CAUSED CONFUSION, LIE, AND DON’T COMMUNICATE WITH THE MOTEL STAFF. Motel staff are continually subject to all that, unfortunately. 3rd party reservation service lied to me about reserving a ground floor room and including the $25/night pet fee in the charges. Had to pay on the phone to guarantee the room. No joke: An $80 room advertised online cost me $141.00 including the $15.99 booking fee using the third party 833 toll free number. Had to spend extra time at 10:45pm at the front desk after driving all day and having already paid for the room to straighten it all out. Still had to pay the $141.00 despite the misleading online and reservation call center info. Recommend: Call motel directly or use their website or app ONLY to book.

Located as you enter the city limits. Hospital, drug store, are located behind the hotel. Access to the main highway is easy on and off. Restaurants, gas, and other amenities are available along the highway as you head into town.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The entire property clean and well maintained. Definitely would stay again.

The Breakfast Room was well supplied this time. Really liked the gentleman who checked me in. Great service all around this round.

My 2nd stay here was also very nice and pleasant- very friendly and helpful staff and the room was very clean and comfortable. I was able to get another great nights sleep and continue on my journey the next day! Thank you so much Cobblestone Inn and Suites Lakin, Kansas for having me!

This is my hometown, so it is wonderful to have a clean, well run hotel to come to as our family often has no room to accommodate us and we travel with a lot of equipment for sleep apnea. The beds are comfortable, room clean, and accept our small dog for a nightly fee. The hot breakfast is not 5 star, but the coffee, cereal, and sweet rolls are fine. I would recommend it to anyone especially since the next nearest motels are in a city 25 miles away.

Hotel was clean with comfortable beds and good weekend breakfasts that even my children would eat But my biggest rave is the staff!! I left 2 outfits hanging in the room and I live 5 hours away. The manager took it upon herself to get them sent to me! This is the type of service that will have guests return again on their next visit!! Thank you for such personal care!!

My suite was pretty much perfect: Nice and quiet; spacious; excellent condition; very clean and comfy bed; clean bathroom with a great shower; clean everything else as well; great kitchen, including a full-size fridge and freezer; and complimentary breakfast (nothing earth-shattering, but a solid run-of-the-mill budget hot breakfast with a good number of items to mix and match). Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
